These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Motion House website, mobile experiences, ticketing platform, and live events (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services or attending an event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services or purchase tickets.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing a ticket, submitting an RSVP, or otherwise accessing Motion House Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Event Admission
Admission to Motion House events is subject to the ticket or RSVP being valid, the attendee matching the identification details on the pass, and compliance with venue rules and applicable laws. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person for disruptive behaviour, intoxication, failure to present valid ID, or violation of these Terms.
3. Tickets and Registration
- All ticket sales are final unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled by Motion House.
- Tickets may not be resold, transferred, or duplicated without our written consent.
- Free RSVP passes are issued at our discretion and may be limited by capacity.
- Each pass is linked to the registered attendee; shared or forged passes will be voided.
4. Pricing and Payments
Ticket prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through Paystack. By completing a purchase, you authorise Motion House to charge the selected payment method. All payment disputes must be raised within 14 days of the transaction.
5. Refund Policy
Tickets are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in the following cases:
- The event is cancelled and not rescheduled.
- The event is materially rescheduled and you cannot attend the new date.
- A duplicate or erroneous charge is proven.
6. Code of Conduct
Motion House events are meant to be safe, inclusive, and enjoyable. Harassment, discrimination, violence, theft, or possession of illegal items will not be tolerated. Attendees must follow instructions from staff and security at all times. Anyone violating this code may be removed without refund.
7. Photography and Media
By attending an event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional, commercial, and archival purposes. If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform event staff on arrival.
8. Limitation of Liability
Motion House and its partners are not liable for any personal injury, loss of property, or indirect damages arising from attendance, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Attendees are responsible for their own belongings and personal safety.
9. Cancellations and Changes
We may cancel, reschedule, or change event details, performers, or venues due to circumstances beyond our control. We will use reasonable efforts to notify ticket holders via email, SMS, or the website. Refund eligibility for such changes is described in Section 5.
10. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Motion House website and promotional materials — including logos, designs, photographs, videos, and text — is owned by Motion House or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and where unresolved, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Oyo State, Nigeria.
